The virtual assistant market is one of the fastest-growing segments of the global remote workforce, yet there has been no independent editorial voice covering it from the outside. Most available information comes from the agencies themselves. We believe employers and jobseekers deserve access to transparent, well-researched, and editorially independent analysis.

What We Do
We evaluate virtual assistant agencies using a structured methodology across four dimensions: Talent Quality, Pricing, Client Support, and Specialization. Each agency receives a rating and an overall score based on firsthand research, public review analysis, and industry data. Our rankings are updated quarterly to reflect changes in the market.
We also publish role-specific hiring guides, salary benchmarks, interview resources, and career content for aspiring virtual assistants, which makes Pick My VA a resource for both sides of the hiring equation.
Our Editorial Standards
Pick My VA operates under a strict editorial independence policy:
- Rankings and scores are determined by our editorial team. Agencies cannot pay for placement, improved scores, or favorable coverage.
- Where affiliate relationships or sponsored content exist, they are clearly disclosed and kept separate from editorial scoring.
- Our research methodology is published in full on our Methodology page. We believe in showing our work.
- When our data is limited or a score reflects incomplete information, we disclose it within the review.

Our primary audience is business owners in the United States (US), United Kingdom (US), and Australia who are evaluating virtual assistant services in the Philippines and beyond. Our secondary audience is the Filipino remote workforce – virtual assistants and jobseekers who use our salary data, agency reviews, and career resources to navigate the industry.
